Have you Optimised your local SEO with Google My Business?
01/06/2020
Since we now are getting back to some normality after Covid-19 started, it’s time to look at how your business is performing on Google My Business.
Google is letting businesses highlight more types of services offered by adding three new attributes to the Google My Business profile.
- curbside pick up
- no contact delivery
- dine-in
Millions of restaurants have added or edited their dining attributes. Some restaurants have even ditched dining for good.
To support all types of food merchants, virtual kitchens can now verify businesses on Google My Business.
The new attributes in a GMB profile let customers know what you have to offer so they can make an informed decision about where to visit.
GMB Attributes are visible to customers who look up your business in Google Search and Map.
With some businesses now ready to re-open to the public, it’s also important to highlight whether your business has resumed its dine-in service or not.
The new attributes will help your business to make the public choose your place to visit.
As a business owner, you can select many attributes yourself.
For example, if you own a restaurant, you can choose attributes that describe your restaurant’s services or atmosphere. If you are only open during the evenings and nighttime, then you may want to select “Dessert” and “Dinner” as attributes. You should also specify that you do not serve Breakfast and Brunch, because you should strive to make your Google My Business profile as accurate as possible.
The better your Google My Business search is the more traffic your business will get. At Mobilise Solutions, we know the importance of GMB.
