I guess the first thing is are you tracking the keywords for your website and where you rank at all. If not it could be costing you money already. SEO paves the way forwards, but if you are not tracking where you’re at and what you need to do to improve an update like this could push you all the way to the back of the pack.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Core Updates? We know Google makes several updates every year that make changes to their search algorithmic and systems, Google calls them, Core Updates, Can’t beat them so let’s just join them.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The May 2020 Core Updates are here in the midst of the Corona pandemic, it’s sure to be memorable.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

It’s now time to review your analytics to see if the Update had an impact on your site. By now you would already noticed if it had a negative or positive impact on your business.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

It may be nothing to fix on your site after core updates. We know those with sites that experience drops will be looking to fix the problem and we want to make sure they don’t try to fix the wrong things.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The question is what has changed and what we need to do to rank better on Google after core updates. It is not always easy to isolate what you need to do to reverse any algorithmic impact your sites may have seen. So if your site was affected by a core update it is recommended to take a step back from it all, take a wider view of your overall website and see what you can improve on your site.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
