The budgets for everyday spending is tight and the uncertainty about if we can survive one more close down because of COVID.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Here is some excellent news from our Government showing support for our small businesses in much need of some extra financial support.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Small businesses across NSW can now apply for funding up to $3000 to help to rebuild and reopen after the COVID shutdown. The close date is the 16th of August so hurry up, so you don&#8217;t miss out.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The grants can be used to cover marketing and advertisement expenses, and you could then have a new budget to put towards generating new leads, nurturing your customers and also being able to create new customers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This extra funding can go a long way when it comes to advisement\/marketing for your business and also to be more substantial prepared if a new restriction is being implemented.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Who Can Apply?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You must as from the 1st of March 2020:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Be a small business or not-for-profit organisation based in NSW, as defined in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.service.nsw.gov.au\/small-business-covid-19-recovery-grant-guidelines\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Australian Government\u2019s guidelines<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li>Have an ABN registered in NSW<\/li>\r\n<li>Be one of the recognised\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.service.nsw.gov.au\/small-business-covid-19-recovery-grant-guidelines\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">highly impacted industries as outlined by Service NSW<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li>Have a turnover of greater than $75,000 per annum, as proved by your Business Activity Statement.<\/li>\r\n<li>Employ less than 20 full-time equivalent staff<\/li>\r\n<li>Report a payroll below the NSW 2019-2020 payroll tax threshold of $900,000<\/li>\r\n<li>Be highly impacted by the COVID-19 restrictions in 2020<\/li>\r\n<li>Have experienced a minimum of 30% decline in turnover during the period from March to July 2020, compared to the equivalent period (of at least 2 weeks) in 2019<\/li>\r\n<li>Have costs associated with safely reopening or up-scaling your business from 1 July 2020<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For more information, visit the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsw.gov.au\/covid-19\/businesses-and-employment\/financial-assistance\/grants-and-loans#:~:text=More%20support-,%243000%20grants%20for%20small%20business,grants%20of%20%24500%20to%20%243000.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NSW Government\u2019s grants and loans page<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You can apply online via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/api.service.nsw.gov.au\/as\/authorization.oauth2?client_id=apigee&amp;response_type=code&amp;scope=openid%20email%20profile&amp;redirect_uri=https:\/\/connect.service.nsw.gov.au\/v1\/identity\/oauth\/callback&amp;state=rrt-709340673169404409-b-gsy1-32401-180911915-1&amp;nonce=&amp;code_challenge=1596071473239&amp;code_challenge_method=plain#\/email\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Service NSW<\/a>.
